Abstract: ABSTRACT SOLAR-POWERED IOT-BASED INTELLIGENT ANIMAL-VEHICLE COLLISION PREVENTION SYSTEM The present invention discloses an energy-efficient solar powered intelligent system and method for reducing animal-vehicle collisions on roads using multi-sensor-based detection and warning mechanisms. The system comprises a solar-powered energy unit (1), a voltage regulation unit (2), a microcontroller-based control unit (3), one or more sensing modules including Passive Infrared (PIR) sensors (4) and microwave sensors (5), a signal processing (6) and decision-making module (7), a MOSFET switching driver circuit (8), and warning devices including a strobe LED light (9) and a buzzer (10). The sensing modules detect movement, thermal signatures, speed, and height parameters of animals and approaching vehicles for minimizing false detections and enabling real-time warning generation. Upon confirmation of animal presence, simultaneous audible and visual alerts are activated for notifying drivers and dispersing animals away from the roadway. The system operates autonomously during daytime, night-time, and low-visibility environmental conditions in an off-grid and energy-efficient manner with optional IoT-enabled remote monitoring and diagnostics.
