MUMBAI, India, Aug. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611083501 A) filed by Nims University Rajasthan, Jaipur on July 07, 2026, for Solar-Powered Integrated Wearable Apparatus.

Inventors include Jitendra Kumar; and Dr. Rachna.

The application for the patent was published on August 28, 2026, under issue no. 35/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a solar-powered integrated wearable apparatus (100) for portable, hands-free grooming. The apparatus comprises a textile head-engaging portion (107) and a rigid visor (108) with a pivotable casing assembly (101). The casing (101) is configured as a dual-function component, where the exterior surface utilizes flexible thin-film photovoltaics (102) for autonomous energy harvesting, and the interior surface houses a high-CRI OLED array (103b) surrounding a mirror (103a). A core technical feature is the conductive hinge mechanism (105) which facilitates wire-free power transfer between the harvester and the light source. A power management system (104) with MPPT logic and a solid-state battery (104a) is embedded in the visor to ensure ergonomic balance and operation in low-light conditions. The integration of these components provides a self-sustaining, lightweight grooming ecosystem calibrated for high-fidelity skin tone representation.
