Abstract: ABSTRACT Solar-Powered Facial Recognition-based Automated Teller Machine System and Method thereof A solar-powered cardless automated teller machine (ATM) system (100) is provided for authenticated cash withdrawal without use of a physical ATM card. The system (100) comprises a solar energy supply subsystem (102) having a solar panel (104), solar charge controller (106) and rechargeable battery (108), a user interface subsystem (110) having a display screen (112) and camera, a backend processing system (120), an Arduino microcontroller, a BTS motor driver module, a DC motor, a roller-separator cash dispensing mechanism, and an IR sensor. The camera captures facial information for verification, following which a withdrawal request is validated by the backend processing system (120). The microcontroller controls the BTS motor driver module and DC motor to dispense individual currency notes. The IR sensor detects and counts dispensed notes, enabling termination of the motor upon dispensing a required number of notes.
