Abstract: Solar-Powered AI-Based Camera Vehicle Detection, Speed Estimation Collision Warning System for Accident Prevention Abstract: The present invention discloses a solar-powered ai-based camera vehicle detection, speed estimation collision warning system for accident prevention at highway junctions and merge roads for improving safety at highway junctions, merge roads, blind intersections and hill-road curves. The system employs dual cameras, edge computing, Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision algorithms to detect approaching vehicles, estimate their speed and predict potential collision risks in real time. Upon identifying a hazardous situation, the system automatically activates visual warning indicators and optional audible alerts to notify drivers before entering the junction. The proposed solution operates using renewable solar energy with battery backup, enabling deployment in remote locations without continuous electrical supply. The invention further supports integration with radar sensors, IoT infrastructure and future autonomous vehicle communication systems, providing a scalable and intelligent solution for reducing road accidents and enhancing transportation safety.
