Inventors include D. Sandhya Rani; and G. Bala Krishna.
The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.
Abstract: The current invention is concerned with a solar panel cleaning robot that utilizes a small amount of water for the automatic cleaning of photovoltaic panels. The invention includes the robotic mobility platform, the cleaning unit, the sensor, the controller, and the water recycling system. The invention uses an autonomous mechanism for the detection of dust and debris, movement on the surface of the solar panels, and for cleaning through the use of rotating brushes and micro-sprays. The water management process helps reduce the usage of water by filtering the used water and recycling it back into the cleaning system.
