Abstract: ABSTRACT Title: SOLAR ENERGY MONITORING AND PREDICTIVE CONTROL FOR SMART HOME ENERGY MANAGEMENT 5 The present invention discloses a solar energy monitoring and predictive control system designed f()r _ effif:i~nt energy_ management in residential environments. The system comprises a solar panel (1) connected to a charge controller (2) and a battery storage unit (3) for energy generation and storage. Voltage sensor (4) and current sensor (5) are provided to measure electrical parameters, which are processed by a 10 microcontroller-based energy management system (6). The system implements a machine learning-based prediction algorithm to forecast future solar energy availability. A relay control module (7) is connected to control household loads (8) . based on predicted energy levels. A communication module (9) enables data transmission to a monitoring dashboard (10) for real-time display of system 15 performance and predicted output. The system operates as a closed-loop predictive control system, improving energy efficiency, optimizing battery utilization, and enabling intelligent energy management for smart home applications.
