Abstract: A snow traction device for vehicles, comprises of an elongated cuboidal body 101 stored with plurality of gravels installed on a front portion of a vehicle, multiple clamping units 102 for affixing body 101 with vehicle, a user interface to input regarding a snowy surface lying ahead of user’s vehicle, a telescopic rod 103 for positioning tactile sensor on snowy surface for detecting hardness of snow present on surface, a pair of iris holes 104 for dispensing evaluated amount of gravels on surface, a hollow telescopic pole 105 for positioning mouth portion of pole 105 ahead to wheels to create friction, a linear actuator 107 to position a curved-shaped flap 106 for spreading gravel in direction of motion of vehicle, an imaging unit 108 to determine presence of potholes to dispense a large amount of gravels by iris holes 104 in order to allow smooth movement of vehicles over potholes.
