Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a controlled, modular smoke inhalation chamber (100) for laboratory animals, enabling precise and safe toxicological studies. The system comprises a smoke generation module (101), a sealed exposure chamber assembly (103) with interchangeable animal compartments (103a), and a regulated smoke transfer pathway (102). A key feature is the integration of a real- time sensor monitoring unit (104) that continuously measures PM, CO, O2, and temperature. A central control unit (105) utilizes this feedback to dynamically adjust smoke flow and dilution, ensuring uniform dosing. The invention further includes a safety regulation module (107) which automatically triggers a smoke cut-off valve (107b) and initiates fresh air purging if safety thresholds are exceeded. This closed-loop system improves experimental reproducibility and ensures animal welfare compared to conventional static exposure boxes.
