Abstract: The present invention relates to an intelligent RFID-based bus tracking system that utilizes Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and Internet of Things (loT) technology to monitor bus locations and provide real-time tracking information. The system includes RFID tags installed at bus stops, RFID readers mounted on buses, an ESP32 microcontroller, and a communication module. When a bus reaches a stop, the RFID reader detects the tag and the system automatically records the location. The data is transmitted to a backend server and displayed through a web-based application for users and administrators. The system also provides real-time updates using network communication and enables efficient monitoring of bus movement. Additionally, a battery monitoring feature tracks the system's power status. The invention enhances public transport efficiency, reduces passenger waiting time, and improves the reliability of bus tracking systems.
