The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.

Abstract: The titled invention discloses an Al-based SmartGym system designed for real-time fitness monitoring and physiological parameter tracking. The system comprises a webcam (1) to capture user movements and a processing system (2) configured to detect body landmarks and calculate joint angles using a pose estimation method for exercise recognition and repetition counting. Exercises including squat, push-up, 10 lunge, bicep curl, plank, and jumping jack are identified using rule-based conditions. A sensor module (4) comprising a microcontroller unit (3) and MAX30100 sensor measures heart rate and oxygen saturation. A communication interface (5) enables data transfer to the processing system (2), and a user interface display (6) presents real-time feedback and physiological data. The multimodal system synchronizes pose 15 data and physiological signals to provide exercise feedback and safety monitoring. Experimental evaluation on five participants demonstrates an average repetition counting accuracy of 96%, real-time performance of 29-31 FPS on CPU-only hardware, and clinically acceptable physiological measurement errors (±2.4 BPM, ±1.8% Sp02). The system provides a practical, low-cost solution for real-time fitness 20 monitoring and training assistance.
