MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641093727 A) filed by Easwari Engineering College; and Srm Institute Of Science And Technology, ramapuram Campus on August 03, 2026, for Smart Wildlife Intrusion Detection System Using Integral Transform-Based Environmental Sensor Analytics.

Inventor includes Dr. Raghavendran Prabakaran.

The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.

Abstract: The present invention is directed towards a transform-based wildlife intrusion detection and environmental monitoring system for real-time ecological surveillance applications. The system is equipped with environmental sensing devices such as acoustic sensor, vibration sensor, infrared sensor and motion detection device to receive environmental signals related to wildlife activity. An intrusion-related signal characteristic improvement technique based on integral transform is proposed to preprocess the acquired signals, thus improving the characteristics related to the intrusion and suppressing environmental noise and irregular disturbance signal. Intelligent decision making processes are used to analyze the modified signals and detect wildlife intrusion events in real time. The invention also includes wireless communication modules to send alerts for monitoring and surveillance information to authorized persons and environmental monitoring centers. The proposed system allows for devices to operate at low power, generate fewer false alarms, efficiently monitor the environment, and scale up for smart forest monitoring, ecological conservation, and environmental protection applications.
