The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: Abstract: India has an estimated 77 million people with type 2 diabetes and 25 million people who are prediabetic. This makes India the most affected country in the world, with 26% of the world's people with diabetes. The most common method for measuring blood sugar levels is to use a blood glucose meter and test strips, also known as a "finger stick check" which is an invasive method of measuring sugar level. We proposed a new methodology called non-invasive glucose monitoring device from sweat. Sweat is easily accessible from skin through eccrine glands which is rich in physiological data, containing electrolytes and metabolites. It retrieves glucose level in blood non-invasively. Flexible wearable sensors can communicate the glucose level, Blood pressure, heart rate and movement of the patient to the patient’s mobile application. On abnormality the data is sent to the doctor, or the ambulance depending on the severity. The doctor can send reply messages to the patient and the caretaker regarding health information regularly.
