MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621071026 A) filed by Thakur College Of Engineering & Technology on June 08, 2026, for Smart Water Purifier Monitoring And Predictive Maintenance System.

Inventors include Ujjawal Pathak; and Dr. Prachi Janrao.

Abstract: Abstract “Smart Water Purifier Monitoring and Predictive Maintenance System” The present invention in Figure 1 relates to a Smart Aqua Health Monitoring system for water purification. This system will be capable of predictive maintenance of a filter cartridges in the water purifier, ensuring optimized performance and prolonged lifespan of a system. It comprises: -a pH sensor to check the pH level of the drinking water, a TDS sensor is used to indicate the total dissolved solids like salts, minerals, and metals, in a solution to check the water quality (within the range of 0-100), a flow sensor for measuring the water usage, a keypad for the cartridge changing date entry, an EEPROM to store the entered date and a 20x4 display for the user to check the required data.
