Abstract: [0032] A smart vehicle security system integrates a seat pressure sensor, window-status sensors, and a break-in sensor with a microcontroller unit. The system employs a novel control logic to prevent vehicle locking if any window is open. It also detects occupant presence or intrusion conditions, triggering immediate in-vehicle alarms and sending real-time remote notifications to the owner. This multi-parameter sensor fusion enhances safety by accurately identifying unsafe conditions in parked vehicles, reducing false alarms, and proactively preventing risks like theft, rain damage, and unauthorized access. The system is designed to be low-cost, privacy- preserving, and retrofit-friendly. [FIG. 1]
