Abstract: The present invention relates to a Smart Traffic Management System designed to improve traffic control and transportation efficiency using advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), sensors, CCTV cameras, GPS, and cloud computing. The system collects real-time traffic data from roads and intersections to monitor vehicle movement, traffic density, congestion, and accidents. The collected information is analyzed using AI-based algorithms to automatically adjust traffic signal timings according to traffic conditions, thereby reducing traffic congestion and waiting time. The invention also provides emergency vehicle prioritization by creating green signal corridors for ambulances, police vehicles, and fire trucks. In addition, the system delivers real-time traffic updates, congestion alerts, and alternate route suggestions through mobile applications and digital displays. The invention improves road safety, reduces fuel consumption, minimizes environmental pollution, and supports smart city transportation management by providing an intelligent, automated, and efficient traffic control solution
