MUMBAI, India, June 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641051428 A) filed by Manipal Academy Of Higher Education on April 22, 2026, for Smart System For Early Heart Disease Prediction And Performance Analysis And Method Thereof.
Inventors include Manoj Tolani; Rajeev Kumar; Gaurav Suman; Yazeed Alzahrani; Pankaj Kumar; Himanshu Chaudhary; Arun Balodi; Ambar Bajpai; and Nikita Goel.
The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a smart system (100) and method (300) for early heart disease prediction and performance analysis. The system (100) includes a data acquisition unit (102), a processor (120) and a memory (130). The memory (130) stores instructions which when executed by the processors (120) cause the system (100) to group the dataset into a plurality of clusters based on similarity measures using an unsupervised learning technique by a clustering unit (104). The dataset is divided into a training dataset and a testing dataset by a data partitioning unit (108). A disease prediction output and corresponding performance metrics is generated based on the testing dataset by a prediction unit (112). The system (100) is configured to integrate clustering-derived features with original dataset features to improve prediction accuracy in a supervised learning framework.
