Abstract: ABSTRACT A smart stop notification system for conductor-based public transport vehicles is disclosed. The system comprises an embedded processing unit, a GPS module, a destination input interface, a stop coordinate database, a destination mapping engine, a stop detection engine, and an alert generation module. During ticket issuance, a conductor enters a passenger destination, which is associated with corresponding stop coordinates stored in the database. Real-time vehicle location information obtained from the GPS module is continuously compared with the stored destination coordinates using a geofencing or distance-based detection algorithm. Upon determining arrival at the selected destination stop, the alert generation module generates a personalized notification through visual, audible, or wireless alert mechanisms. The system reduces dependence on manual stop announcements, minimizes missed-stop incidents, improves passenger convenience, and provides a cost-effective intelligent solution suitable for conductor-operated public transportation systems.
