Abstract: SMART SOS-BASED SAFETY MECHANISM FOR WOMEN IN PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION Abstract The present invention discloses an integrated women safety system (100) for installation in a public transport bus (102) to enable rapid and coordinated emergency response. The system comprises an SOS Button (116) operable by a Woman in Distress (101) to initiate an Alert Signal Sends (103) to a Microcontroller (115). Upon activation, the Microcontroller (115) synchronously enables Live Location Tracking (104) using a GPS Module (118), collects Passenger Data (109) including Passenger Count (110) via IR Sensors (117), and transmits the data through a GSM Module (121) to a Police Women’s Helpline (107), a Nearest Police Station (112), and a 2C2)lo. ud Server (1 Simultaneously, Bus Alerts (105) are generated through External SOS Lights (120) forming a Bus SOS Indicator (106), and an External Alert (113) is broadcast. The system ensures real-time monitoring, enhanced situational awareness, and improved passenger safety.
