Abstract: The Smart Solar-Powered Window Ventilation System is an energy-efficient air circulation solution designed to improve indoor air quality using renewable solar energy. Traditional ventilation systems depend on grid electricity and often increase energy consumption, especially in residential and commercial buildings that require continuous airflow. This invention provides a sustainable alternative by integrating a solar-powered ventilation mechanism directly into window structures for automatic and intelligent air exchange. The system consists of a solar panel, rcchargcablc battery, exhaust and intake fan units, air quality and temperature sensors, a microcontroller, and an automatic window vent control mechanism. During daytime, solar panels generate electrical energy to power the ventilation fans and charge the battery for night operation. The sensors continuously monitor indoor temperature, humidity, and air quality levels such as carbon dioxide concentration. Based on these readings, the controller activates the fans and adjusts the ventilation openings automatically to maintain a healthy indoor environment. The system reduces dependence on conventional electricity, lowers energy costs, and supports eco-friendly building design. It is suitable for homes, offices, classrooms, hospitals, and green buildings where fresh air circulation is essential. The compact design allows easy installation in existing windows without major structural modifications.
