Abstract: ABSTRACT The present disclosure relates to artificial intelligence-based healthcare systems, particularly to an intelligent epileptic seizure prediction framework employing a Smart Societal Optimization (SSO) algorithm integrated with a Deep Convolutional Neural Network (DCNN). Electroencephalogram (EEG) signals are acquired and subjected to preprocessing including filtering, normalization, segmentation, and artifact removal. The processed signals are supplied to a deep convolutional neural network for hierarchical feature extraction. Smart Societal Optimization is used to optimize selected model hyperparameters during training to improve prediction performance. The trained model classifies EEG segments into pre-ictal, ictal, or inter-ictal states and enables early warning generation for caregivers or patients. The framework is intended for real-time seizure monitoring applications and may be implemented on cloud, edge, or wearable computing platforms.
