MUMBAI, India, Oct. 26 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611115010 A) filed by Chandigarh University on September 25, 2026, for Smart Skin Monitoring System.
Inventor includes Deven.
The application for the patent was published on October 23, 2026, under issue no. 43/2026.
Abstract: A wearable facial treatment and skin monitoring system is disclosed comprising an algae-derived biodegradable hydrogel facial mask integrated with flexible sensing elements, skincare formulation reservoirs, a microchannel delivery network, and an electronic control and processing unit. The sensing elements are configured to monitor skin parameters including hydration, temperature, pH and irritation-related conditions. The control and processing unit processes the sensed parameters to determine a treatment requirement and controls delivery of a skincare formulation through the microchannel delivery network to a selected facial region. A wireless communication module enables transmission of skin-related measurements to an external electronic device having a software platform for displaying measurements, storing treatment-session data and analysing historical information. The system thereby provides real-time skin monitoring and feedback-controlled delivery of skincare formulations through a biodegradable facial treatment platform.
