Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention discloses an AI-enabled Smart Shopping Cart System that automates item identification, verification, billing, navigation, and payment through an integrated multi-sensor architecture. The system includes a controller 1 housed in a sealed enclosure, coordinating data from infrared (IR) sensors 2, a camera module 3, weight sensors 4, and an NFC scanner 5 to detect, identify, and authenticate items placed into a basket structure 11. A user interface 6, mounted on handlebar assembly 10, provides real-time item details, pricing, alerts, and checkout options. Controller 1 communicates with a remote database 7 through wireless network module 8, enabling retrieval of product metadata, expected weight profiles, and store navigation data. A wheel assembly 9 supports stable load distribution, ensuring accurate weight measurement. Through combined sensing, machine- learning algorithms, and backend connectivity, the system delivers frictionless checkout, fraud reduction, real-time guidance, and enhanced retail analytics
