Abstract: ABSTRACT Smart Sensorized Pen for Adaptive Handwriting Rehabilitation A smart assistive writing pen system (100) for handwriting rehabilitation is disclosed. The system comprises a motion sensing unit (102), a grip force sensor (104), an embedded microcontroller (106), an adaptive handwriting analysis engine (108), a user profile memory (110), a haptic driver (112), a vibration actuator (114), a wireless communication module (116) and a rechargeable power management unit (118). The system continuously acquires handwriting movement and grip behaviour, analyses handwriting characteristics using personalized rehabilitation profiles, detects handwriting abnormalities and generates real-time tactile corrective feedback to improve handwriting quality and motor coordination. The adaptive handwriting analysis engine dynamically updates rehabilitation parameters based on historical handwriting performance and further predicts rehabilitation progress for automatically adjusting correction sensitivity. The wireless communication module enables remote monitoring and long-term rehabilitation assessment. FIG. 1.
