Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a smart sanitation alert system (100) for detecting prolonged inactivity inside a Sanitation Area enclosure and generating emergency notifications. The system comprises a motion detection sensor (102) mounted within the Sanitation Area to generate motion signals corresponding to human movement, a processing and control unit (104) electrically coupled to the motion detection sensor (102), an inactivity timer module (106) integrated with the processing and control unit (104), and a wireless communication module (108). Upon detection of occupancy, the processing and control unit (104) initiates the inactivity timer module (106) and resets the timer upon subsequent motion detection. When absence of motion persists beyond a preset inactivity duration, an emergency trigger signal is generated and transmitted through the wireless communication module (108) to a remote alert interface (110), which forwards notification data including Sanitation Area identification and time stamp information to registered electronic devices. The system may further include a manual reset interface configured to cancel emergency alerts in case of false inactivity detection.
