MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541064739 A) filed by Praveena M on July 07, 2025, for Smart Sanitary Waste Incinerator System With Adaptive Flue Gas Heat Recovery And Sensor-Based Combustion Control.

Inventor includes Praveena M.

The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a smart sanitary waste incinerator system and method for hygienic disposal of sanitary waste while improving combustion stability, emission control and thermal energy recovery. The system comprises a combustion chamber, an ignition assembly, one or more temperature sensors, one or more gas sensors, a controller, a heat recovery unit, a bypass duct, an adaptive bypass valve, an emission treatment unit and a communication module. The controller continuously receives real-time combustion data and dynamically regulates the adaptive bypass valve to selectively distribute flue gases between the heat recovery unit and the bypass duct according to predetermined combustion conditions. During stable combustion, a major proportion of flue gases is directed through the heat recovery unit to maximize thermal energy recovery. When combustion instability is detected, including a reduction in combustion temperature below a predetermined operating threshold or changes in combustion gas composition, the controller diverts an increased proportion of the flue gases through the bypass duct to reduce thermal extraction and restore efficient combustion. The controller operates in a closed-loop adaptive combustion control process using continuous sensor feedback to dynamically regulate heat extraction according to combustion conditions. The invention thereby improves combustion stability, reduces harmful emissions and enhances overall energy efficiency.
