The application for the patent was published on June 19, 2026, under issue no. 25/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT SMART SAFETY HELMET WITH INTEGRATED ALCOHOL DETECTION AND EMERGENCY ALERT SYSTEM A smart safety helmet system (100) includes a helmet shell worn by a two-wheeler rider, an alcohol sensor (102) on the helmet shell to detect breath alcohol concentration, a wear detection sensor (104) to detect proper helmet wearing, and a crash sensor (106) with an inertial measurement unit to detect acceleration, tilt, or impact events indicative of an accident. A microcontroller (108) on the helmet shell is coupled to the alcohol sensor (102), wear detection sensor (104), and crash sensor (106) to process sensor data and generate control signals. An ignition control module (110) receives control signals and restricts vehicle ignition when breath alcohol concentration exceeds a predefined threshold or when the helmet is not properly worn. A GPS module (112) retrieves real-time location data, and a GSM module (114) transmits emergency alerts containing location coordinates to predefined contacts upon crash event detection.
