Abstract: SMART ROBOTIC SYSTEM FOR AUTOMATED WET AND DRY WASTE DETECTION AND SEGREGATION The present invention relates to a smart robotic system (100) for automated detection, classification and segregation of waste into wet and dry categories. The system (100) comprises an input sensor unit (110) having an IR proximity sensor (111) and a rain/moisture sensor (112), a processing unit (120), a servo control unit (130) having a PWM servo driver (131), a four-degree-of- freedom robotic arm (140), a power supply unit (160), and an output collection arrangement (170) having a wet waste bin (171) and a dry waste bin (172). The IR proximity sensor (111) detects a waste object (150), while the rain/moisture sensor (112) provides moisture information for classification. The processing unit (120) processes the sensor signals and commands the PWM servo driver (131) to operate the base servo (141), shoulder servo (142), elbow servo (143), and gripper servo (144). The robotic arm (140) automatically picks and transfers the classified waste object (150) into the corresponding bin (171, 172) and returns to a home position. The system provides compact, low-cost and automated waste segregation with reduced manual intervention. Figure-1
