Abstract: This development introduces a Smart Road Damage Reporting and Monitoring System designed to improve road-damage identification, reporting, prioritization, and monitoring. Conventional reporting methods often depend on manual complaints, telephone calls, or delayed inspections, resulting in incomplete information and slow response. The proposed system addresses these limitations through a centralized digital platform where citizens can submit road-damage images along with geographical location. Browser-based geolocation captures the latitude and longitude, while the uploaded image is securely stored for further analysis. An artificial intelligence-based module analyzes the submitted image to identify damage type, severity, priority, and description. The generated information is stored in a centralized database along with user details, location, image reference, and current status. An administrative interface enables authorized personnel to review complaints, monitor road conditions, update report status, and track maintenance progress. The system provides a structured and efficient approach to road-damage management while supporting faster identification and prioritization of critical road conditions.
