Abstract: ABSTRACT “SMART RECYCLING SYSTEM FOR CONVERTING CONSTRUCTION AND DEMOLITION WASTE INTO SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTS” The present invention relates to a system and method to recycle construction and demolition (C&D) waste into sustainable construction products in environmental engineering and waste management. The main components of our present invention, a smart sorting module employs a multi-sensor array with hyperspectral imaging (400-1000 nm), LiDAR, NIR spectroscopy, and RGB cameras, processed by neuromorphic AI with explainable outputs and self-adaptive learning, to classify waste accurately and feed data to a material enhancement mixer. This mixer combines sorted aggregates with pond ash, nano-additives (0.5-1% Ti3C2Tx MXene), and self- repairing microcapsules under ultrasonic sound-wave activation (20-40 kHz) at controlled pH (10-12) and temperature (50-80°C), producing durable composites. A portable manufacturing unit with robot-assisted 3D printing (1-2 mm layers) processes these composites on-site, monitored by a quality sensor network using ultrasonic (4-5 km/s) and laser sensors (0.1 mm resolution) for real-time anomaly detection. A secure tracking ledger with blockchain, RFID, and smart contracts ensures immutable provenance, while an eco-impact analysis module optimizes environmental metrics via life cycle assessment. A central control unit integrates all modules with decentralized AI, enabling a continuous adaptive feedback loop for sustainable recycling.
