Abstract: The present invention discloses a smart reading wearable spectacles system (100) including a frame (110) adapted to support spectacles on a user's face. Embodiments may also include at least one adjustable light emitting diode (LED) (120) light mounted on the frame (110), the LED light configured to provide illumination directed towards a reading surface. In some embodiments, the intensity and direction of the LED light may be adjustable based on ambient lighting conditions detected by a light sensor. Embodiments may also include a power source (150) operably connected to the LED light, the power source (150) including one or more of a rechargeable battery, a replaceable battery, or a solar-powered charging unit integrated into the frame (110). Embodiments may also include a control module (130) configured to activate, deactivate, and adjust the intensity and colour temperature of the LED light via a manual switch, voice command, or mobile application.
