Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a smart public transport management system (100). The system (100) includes a processing unit (102) with a processor, memory, and routing decision engine. The processing unit (102) coordinates interconnected units, including a passenger unit (104) for public transport vehicles tracking, route planning, ticketing, alerts, and SOS services. A driver interface (108) for trip management, GPS transmission, emergency alerts, and dynamic route updates. A conductor unit (106) for QR based ticket validation, manual issuance, occupancy updates, and offline reporting. An inspector unit (116) for ticket verification, fine issuance, and compliance monitoring. An administrative dashboard (112) provides centralized oversight of fleet status, safety alerts, and routing. The routing decision engine (102-6) processes occupancy data, passenger requests, and travel patterns to detect overcrowded or underutilized routes. Once thresholds are exceeded, adaptive routing recommendations are generated and transmitted to drivers and conductors, forming a feedback loop that continuously refines routing decisions.
