Abstract: WE CLAIM 1. An integrated spiral-hole punching mechanism for a printer, comprising a paper discharge path, a drive arrangement operatively connected to a main motor of the printer, a cam coupled to the drive arrangement, a plunger configured to reciprocate in response to rotation of the cam, and at least one punch attached to the plunger, wherein printed paper passing through the paper discharge path is automatically punched to form spiral-binding holes by the reciprocating movement of the punch, thereby enabling simultaneous printing and hole formation in a single operation without requiring a separate punching device.
