The application for the patent was published on August 28, 2026, under issue no. 35/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a patient-support sheet for prevention and monitoring of pressure injuries in bedridden patients. The sheet comprises a plurality of anatomically defined monitoring zones positioned corresponding to pressure-prone body regions including the occipital, scapular, sacral, trochanteric, elbow, and heel regions. Each monitoring zone incorporates pressure-duration- responsive reversible color-changing material configured to visually indicate cumulative pressure exposure. The indicator progressively transitions from a first visual state representing a safe condition to a second visual state representing a warning condition and subsequently to a third visual state representing a high-risk condition requiring patient repositioning. The color-changing material automatically returns to its original state following removal of pressure. The invention provides real-time bedside assessment of pressure injury risk without requiring electronic sensors, batteries, wireless communication systems, software applications, or external monitoring devices. The invention is applicable in hospitals, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, intensive care units, and home-care environments.
