Abstract: The titled invention discloses a smart predictive maintenance system for monitoring the operational condition of a DC motor and estimating its Remaining Useful Life (RUL) using Internet of Things (loT) and machine learning techniques. The system comprises a plurality of sensor modules (3) to continuously acquire real-time operational 10 parameters including temperature, vibration, current, and speed of the DC motor (1). The acquired data is processed by the microcontroller (4) through filtering, normalization, and signal conditioning before being transmitted for analysis. The AI/ML module (5) analyzes the processed data, extracts relevant features, predicts the Remaining Useful Life (RUL) of the DC motor (1), and classifies the motor condition 15 into Healthy, Warning, and Critical states. The monitoring results, health status, and RUL predictions are displayed through the dashboard (6) and LCD display (7), while alerts are generated upon detection of critical conditions. The invention enables early fault prediction, reduces unplanned downtime, lowers maintenance costs, improves operational safety, and enhances the reliability and efficiency of industrial equipment 20 through real-time predictive maintenance.
