Abstract: The present invention relates to a smart predictive maintenance system for Hyperloop propulsion systems. The system monitors propulsion health using real-time sensor parameters including temperature, vibration, current, and speed, along with the spatial position of a Hyperloop pod. The collected data is processed to determine the expected operating condition of the propulsion system based on historical data, physical operating conditions, and environmental parameters. An intelligent anomaly detection mechanism compares the real time measurements with the expected operating condition and dynamically adjusts detection thresholds according to the pod location and operating conditions. The system further uses physics-based information and synthetic degradation data to improve anomaly detection where real-world fault data is limited. When abnormal behaviour or potential degradation is detected, the system generates an early warning for predictive maintenance. The proposed system enables continuous monitoring, early fault detection, and timely maintenance of Hyperloop propulsion components, thereby supporting reliable and efficient operation of the Hyperloop transportation system.
