Abstract: ABSTRACT SMART PORTABLE WATER PURIFICATION SYSTEM A smart portable water purification system (100) housed in housing (200) receives feed water through inlet (218) via bidirectional pump (110) powered by energy 5 storage device (102). The pump (110) pressurizes water through cartridge system (112) having flexible single-stage or multi-stage configurations for contaminant removal, dispensing purified water (114) through outlet (214). A processing unit (138) continuously monitors operational parameters using first pressure sensor (116), first flow rate sensor (118), and first current sensor (124) to calculate 10 cartridge life and detect membrane fouling. A feedback mechanism triggers cleaning cycles through reverse pump operation when parameters exceed predetermined thresholds and/or ranges, while indicator panel (134) provides color- coded status feedback with or without audio alerts. The system (100) also generates local notifications (140) and/or cloud notifications (144) for maintenance alerts and 15 cartridge replacement scheduling. Integrated safety features include GPS tracking, SOS functionality via buttons (126, 128), solar panel charging, and variable flow control, creating synergistic water purification with intelligent monitoring and emergency capabilities. 20
