Abstract: The present invention relates to a Smart Nebulizer with Adaptive Aerosol Delivery, designed to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of respiratory drug administration. Conventional nebulizers continuously generate aerosol irrespective of the patient's breathing pattern, resulting in significant medication wastage, longer treatment duration, and reduced lung deposition. The proposed smart nebulizer overcomes these drawbacks by delivering aerosol in synchronization with the patient's inhalation cycle. The system incorporates a breathing detection mechanism using a pressure or airflow sensor to monitor real-time respiratory patterns. A control unit processes the sensor data and activates aerosol generation only during the inhalation phase. This adaptive delivery approach ensures optimal utilization of medication while minimizing losses during exhalation. The nebulizer further includes a user interface for displaying operational status, battery level, and treatment progress. The invention supports portable operation through a low-voltage power supply and can optionally include wireless communication for usage monitoring and data logging. The adaptive control logic improves patient comfort, shortens therapy time, and enhances treatment outcomes. The device is suitable for patients suffering from asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and other respiratory disorders. By combining intelligent sensing, controlled aerosol generation, and energy-efficient design, the Smart Nebulizer with Adaptive Aerosol Delivery provides a reliable, cost-effective, and patient-friendly solution for modern respiratory therapy applications
