Inventors include Hemant Sharma; and Bhawika Bhandari.
The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a smart mirror system for true reflection and contactless 5 image capture, which integrates a processing unit, an imaging module, a two- way mirror, a display module, proximity sensing, and user interaction modules to generate a real-time trueview reflection and enable hands-free photograph capture through gesture recognition, voice commands, or blink detection. It further provides interactive overlay rendering for displaying customizable real-time information, including time, weather, fitness metrics, calendar 10 reminders, and other user-selectable widgets. The system employs proximity-based activation and an intelligent standby mode to improve energy efficiency by activating the display only when a user is present and reducing power consumption during inactivity. By seamlessly integrating hardware components with embedded image processing and intelligent user interaction, also providing accurate non-reversed image capture, personalized 15 digital assistance, and an enhanced user experience for activities such as grooming, makeup application, fashion evaluation, fitness monitoring, and personal photograph.
