Abstract: [05] This work proposes an IoT-based real-time machine monitoring and predictive maintenance system for smart manufacturing environments. The proposed system uses vibration, temperature, current, voltage, acoustic, speed, and humidity sensors to continuously monitor machine health. Sensor data are acquired through an edge device, transmitted using MQTT communication, stored in a time-series database, and processed using machine-learning-based anomaly detection and failure prediction models. A machine health index is computed from normalized sensor features, and maintenance alerts are generated based on risk level. The proposed architecture supports real-time dashboard visualization, fault classification, maintenance scheduling, and historical trend analysis. A prototype evaluation using representative industrial machine data shows that the predictive maintenance model can identify early fault conditions with higher accuracy than threshold-based monitoring. The system reduces unplanned downtime, improves maintenance planning, and supports data-driven decision-making in Industry 4.0 manufacturing plants.
