Abstract: This invention comprises a SMART-LPG Monitoring platform and Refill Alert system that helps track gas consumption in real time and notify the user of the gas cylinder about refill booking at the appropriate time. An LPG cylinder is placed on a custom-made smart platform equipped with an electronic sensing circuit that measures and displays the gas's current weight in a customised mobile application via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. The setup consists of a load cell that measures the weight of the gas and sends a signal to an analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) module (HX711) connected to it. The ADC module is further connected to a microcontroller (ESP 32 model) board that sends gas weight data to a Mobile application via Wi-Fi/Bluetooth. A customer is notified about the gas consumption and the time of the refill booking via a mobile application notification. Thus, this device integrates gas consumption determination and timely notification of an LPG consumer's refill booking, thereby easing the monitoring of gas utilisation for the consumer.
