The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: The Smart LPG Gas Leakage Detection and Shutoff Device is an intelligent safety system designed to detect hazardous gas leaks and automatically prevent potential accidents. The device continuously monitors the surrounding environment for the presence of liquefied petroleum gas using highly sensitive gas sensors. Upon detecting gas concentrations beyond a predefined threshold, the system immediately triggers an alarm and initiates an automatic shutoff mechanism to stop further gas flow. The system integrates a microcontroller-based control unit that processes sensor data in real time and ensures rapid response to leakage conditions. In addition to the shutoff function, the device can send alerts to users through wireless communication modules such as Wi-Fi or GSM, enabling remote monitoring and timely action. The design may also include visual indicators and audible alarms to provide immediate on-site warning. The shutoff mechanism is implemented using a motorized valve or solenoid valve attached to the gas supply line or regulator, ensuring quick and reliable closure. Safety features such as power backup, fault detection, and manual override enhance operational reliability. The compact and easy-to-install design makes the system suitable for domestic kitchens, commercial establishments, and industrial environments. This invention significantly improves gas safety by combining detection, alerting, and automatic control into a single system. It reduces the risk of fire hazards, explosions, and health issues, providing a practical and effective solution for modern safety requirements.
