Abstract: ABSTRACT SMART LIVESTOCK TRACKING SYSTEM WITH GPS GEOFENCING AND HEALTH MONITORING An IoT-based smart livestock tracking and health monitoring system (100) comprising wearable sensor nodes (110) each incorporating a GPS module (112) and a body temperature sensor (114) communicating via LPWAN transceiver (118) to an LPWAN base station (120). A cloud farm management platform (130) includes a geofence engine (132) maintaining configurable boundary polygons for geofence violation detection, a health analytics engine (134) for species-specific fever threshold comparison, and a herd-level disease detection module (136) classifying potential disease onset when a configurable percentage of animals simultaneously report fever-range temperatures within a time window. An alert dispatch module (140) routes notifications through farm manager (142) and veterinary (144) channels. A farm management dashboard (150) provides real-time herd location maps and health status. The invention enables early infectious disease detection from temperature data preceding visible clinical signs. [
