Inventors include Dr. Sivarajeswari S; Balan S; Balan T S; and Saibalakumaran S.
The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: SMART IRRIGATION SYSTEM WITH SOIL FERTILITY BY USING AIML is a precision agriculture technology has been proved to be very efficient in enhancing crop yield while protecting natural resources. An IoT-based smart agriculture solution empowered by artificial intelligence, which includes measuring the soil parameters of moisture, temperature, humidity, pH, and NPK, is suggested to be used to optimize irrigation and fertilization processes in the current research. To analyze the field state in real time, the proposed system monitors the abovementioned parameters of the soil on an ongoing basis. Machine learning is used to analyze the data to predict irrigation and fertilization level. Automation of the irrigation process leads to a reduction of human interference, maximizes resource utilization, and saves water. Remote monitoring and management of the farm become possible due to the use of a mobile interface for the process. Sustainable agriculture is promoted due to the increase of crop yield, cost reduction, and rational agricultural practices.
