MUMBAI, India, July 7 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621054371 A) filed by Ashish Shah on April 29, 2026, for Smart Iot-Enabled Fire Safety Readiness Monitoring System For High-Rise Structures..

Inventor includes Ashish Shah.

The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a Smart loT-Enabled Fire Safety Readiness Monitoring System for High-Rise Structures and a method for manufacturing, deploying, and commissioning the same. The invention comprises selecting and fabricating a plurality of sensors for monitoring operational parameters of fire-fighting infrastructure, including pressure, flow, pump health, valve position, and power availability, followed by calibration using standard test rigs. A multilayer printed circuit board is designed and assembled to form an edge control unit comprising a processor, power management circuitry, sensor interfaces, and communication modules enclosed within an IP-rated, flame-retardant housing. Firmware is developed and embedded to enable sensor data acquisition, local preprocessing, fault detection, secure communication, and data buffering. The sensors and edge control unit are integrated and connected to a cloud-based monitoring platform through wired or wireless communication networks. The cloud platform performs real-time data ingestion, analytics, visualization, alert generation, and compliance reporting. The system is calibrated, commissioned, and validated at a high-rise structure through readiness simulation and threshold configuration, thereby ensuring continuous verification of fire safety system readiness, improved emergency preparedness, and enhanced regulatory compliance.
