Abstract: The present invention a smart helmet is disclosed for improving two-wheeler rider safety by detecting early drowsiness and providing active physical intervention. The helmet integrates a multi-axis inertial measurement unit (IMU) comprising an accelerometer and gyroscope that continuously monitors head motion. An ultra-low-power microcontroller processes inertial signals to detect drowsiness based on head-nod frequency, forward micro-tilt drift, and unstable oscillation patterns, while applying vibration filtering logic to reduce false triggers from road and engine vibration. When drowsiness indicators exceed predefined thresholds, micro-vibration motors embedded within helmet padding near temple and rear head regions activate in a controlled pattern. Vibration intensity is progressively increased if the rider does not recover, and anti-habituation patterns vary pulse parameters and activation locations across successive alerts. The system includes a rechargeable battery, power management circuit, sealed sweat-resistant housing, and optional Bluetooth for configuration and event logging. The invention operates without cameras and functions reliably in night and poor weather conditions. (Accompanied Figure No. 1)
