Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a smart helmet system (100) for real-time rider safety through multi-sensor fusion and adaptive risk detection. The system (100) comprises a motion sensing unit (101), an alcohol detection unit (102), a central processing and control unit (103), a power supply unit (104), a wireless communication module (105), and a mobile application interface module (106). The central processing and control unit (103) computes an acceleration magnitude and a tilt angle from the motion sensing unit (101), compares alcohol sensor data received from the alcohol detection unit (102) against a predetermined threshold, and executes a multi-parameter decision algorithm to classify a riding condition into a normal condition, a rash driving condition, or a crash condition, while validating a detected crash condition using threshold-based and time-window-based validation to reduce false-positive detection. A context-aware alert signal is generated and transmitted, along with processed sensor telemetry, via the wireless communication module (105) to the mobile application interface module (106), which renders a real-time rider status display and emergency alert notification. The invention improves rider safety monitoring accuracy, reduces false-positive crash detection, and enables faster emergency response. The figure associated with abstract is Fig. 1.
