Abstract: The present invention relates to the development of a smart helmet system with automatic crash detection and emergency response capabilities to improve rider safety. The system employs multiple sensors, such as an accelerometer, gyroscope, and GPS sensor, which are incorporated into a conventional protective helmet design. The information collected by these sensors is analysed by an MCU, which is programmed using an AI algorithm. The AI algorithm is programmed to recognize and differentiate between normal movement, minor vibrations, and crashes. In the case of a crash event, the system automatically activates the communication module to generate distress alerts, sending geographic location and rider information to predefined contacts and medical personnel using the GSM cellular network. Furthermore, the invention can have an alcohol sensor interlock device that disables the vehicle's functions when the driver is under the influence of alcohol. FIG.1
