The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT The present disclosure relates to a smart helmet for rider safety and automatic emergency response. The smart helmet (102) includes a sensor assembly (104) generating helmet-state data and motion-state data corresponding to riding conditions. An ignition control circuit (106) enables a vehicle (110) ignition system (108) only when helmet-state data satisfies a predefined helmet- wear threshold. An accident detection circuit (112) computes a composite accident score using weighted multi-parameter fusion, classifying a riding event as an accident when the score exceeds a predefined threshold. An emergency alert circuit (114) dispatches alerts to pre-stored contacts via a short-message-based offline channel, independent of internet connectivity. The ignition control circuit (106), accident detection circuit (112), and emergency alert circuit (114) share the sensor assembly (104) as a common input source, operating sequentially upon a common accident classification output.
