Abstract: The present invention discloses a smart headlight system (100) for vehicles, including a light source (110) configured to emit illumination. In some embodiments, the light source (110) includes a matrix (110) of individually controllable light-emitting diodes (LEDs)or laser diodes. Embodiments may also include a plurality of sensors, including at least one camera (122), radar (124), and lidar (126), configured to detect road conditions, traffic conditions, weather conditions, and objects in the vicinity of the vehicle. Embodiments may also include plurality of actuators (130) operatively connected to the light source (110), configured to dynamically adjust the beam pattern, direction, and intensity based on input from the sensors. Embodiments may also include a controller (140) operatively connected to the sensors and actuators (130), configured to process sensor data and execute algorithms to optimize the beam pattern and intensity. In some embodiments, the system may be configured to enhance visibility in low-visibility conditions including fog (170), rain (150), and snow (180).
