Abstract: Smart Green Agriculture System Using IoT and Machine Learning for Chemical-Free Fertilizer Recommendation is the proposed invention. The proposed invention focuses on a smart green agriculture system that integrates Internet of Things (IoT) technology with a machine learning approach based on the Support Vector Machine to enable chemical-free fertilizer recommendation. The system collects real-time data from agricultural fields using sensors that monitor soil moisture, temperature, pH, humidity, and nutrient levels. This data is transmitted to a processing unit where it is cleaned, structured, and analyzed to assess soil health and crop requirements. The use of continuous monitoring ensures that decisions are based on current field conditions rather than static assumptions. The core intelligence of the system lies in the SVM model, which is trained using historical agricultural datasets containing soil characteristics, crop patterns, and outcomes of organic fertilizer usage. The model classifies soil conditions and detects nutrient deficiencies by constructing optimal decision boundaries between different classes. Based on this classification, the system recommends suitable natural fertilizers such as compost, biofertilizers, green manure, or vermicompost, along with guidance on appropriate application levels and timing.
